The Front Desk mark

A desk bell — the thing you tap on a counter when you want someone to answer. My first solid redraw was worse than the original: the base was too wide and the knob merged into the dome, so it read as a triangle on a plate. These two fix the proportions.

Three to compare

Original for reference, then two candidates. The difference is the dome-to-base ratio and a real gap under the knob.

Original · 4 strokes
A · solid
B · open dome

Does it survive small?

Inline next to the words runs 14–16px. This is the test that killed the first attempt.

Sibling check & hero tile

Front Desk is a Pittsburgh IT product — related, not competing. Base bar uses the logo's fully-rounded bar geometry.

On light
Not changing: the ✓ bullets in lines like “That reply headed to your inbox? That’s Front Desk.” — checklist markers, not the product being labelled. Same for the ⚡ ✉ ☁ feature glyphs and the stray ◈ on /showcase next to “Real client work.”

The hero fix

/front-desk currently puts the Pittsburgh IT logo above “Front Desk never sleeps.”

Front Desk

Now

Front Desk
